On the e4m.pro platform, the application of information technologies for providing content involves the collection, systematization, and analysis of data concerning the preferences of users on the internet, regardless of their geographical location.
These rules for the use of recommender technologies (hereinafter referred to as "Rules") establish the general terms and conditions for the application of information technologies based on the collection, systematization, and analysis of data about user preferences (hereinafter referred to as "Recommender Technologies").
These Rules are an integral part of the e4m.pro platform's User Agreement located on this url: https://e4m.pro/pages/policy/en/user-agreement.
The following types of data related to user preferences and their sources are used for the operation of Recommender Technologies:
1.1 Data provided by the user when using a browser or mobile application installed on the user's device that interacts with the service.
1.2 Each user is assigned a unique user identifier, consisting of a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
1.3 In combination with the user identifier, the following interaction data is collected regarding the user's interaction with the service:
- Information on views of pages and materials on the platform;
- Data on views of content previews on the platform;
- Information on clicks on content previews on the platform.
Data about the user's interaction with the service is used to identify patterns and trends in user preferences through methods of collaborative filtering and machine learning.
Based on the identified patterns and trends in user preferences, recommendations are generated in the form of a list of additional materials on the platform with which the user has not yet interacted, but which may be of interest to them.
For the submission of legally significant messages regarding the use of recommender technologies, users may contact us at the following email address: docs@e4m.pro.
